I am dying to rent a movie.

But, I hate that all the video stores around require quite an effort to get to.  And, if they are not conveniently located, that means late fees.  What now?

I captured this image scroll from a video that’s been uploaded onto iMovie for editing.  It grabs an image for every 2 seconds (or whatever you adjust it to).

Easter Sunday

An early morning road trip to Pacific Beach inspires a new start.

San Diego, Ca. April 2007.

Last week was a special one.  Sandy came  to visit me (and nyc) for five days.  We explored the city’s streets, neighborhoods, coffee, and its delicious food.  It was so nice to spend time with her.

In the last weeks, I have been reading a lot about reflections in reference to science, psychology, and computers.

I decided that while I am in NY, I would challenge myself to resist painting.  I like to play with different mediums, but have noticed that I always return to paint.  I wonder, is paint my crutch?  I hope that in stepping back for a moment, I can reevaluate my relationship with painting.   When I return to it, (if I return to it), my recommitment will be more authentic than it’s ever been.

Undergoing some changes.

I’ve decided to freshen things up around here.  Aside from the new look, I also intend on changing a bit of the content.  Less reblogging, more original blogging.  Hope you enjoy the changes.

I’ve decided to share some of the many short videos I take.  Short moments captured of events I am experiencing, seeing, or doing.

More here.

Oh, Brooklyn.  What am I going to do come May?

Just love you through the end and thereafter, I suppose.
